Stefan is a Brooklyn-based Director of Photography from Germany. His international work ranges from music videos and commercials to narrative films and documentaries, always captured with a careful attention to the subjects’ humanity and an intercultural perspective. Stefan’s European background informs his multicultural cinematic sensibility—he enjoys working on projects from a variety of cultures.
He was the 2020 recipient of the ARRI Volker Bahnemann Award for Outstanding Cinematography.
